Beyond The Kit Lens Seminars

Understanding exactly what makes a great image helps you be in tune to finding them. This seminar is designed to give you information and advice on how to do just that. Some topics covered in the “10 Ways to Change Your Perspective” seminar include lens choice, framing, timing and controlling depth of field and shutter speed for special effects. Ultimately, André Costantini and Ken Hubbard will guide you through dissecting a scene to focus on your own vision. This is a two-part event consisting of a 3-1/2 hour evening lecture and a 45-minute small group hands-on learning session the following day to address your specific photographic questions. For beginner to intermediate level photographers.

ANDRÈ COSTANTINI is a photographer, filmmaker and educator. Andre's approach to photography and teaching is enjoyable, engaging and informative. He has taught photography seminars throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean and has written articles for Studio Photography and Design and Shutterbug. Clients include American Repertory Theatre, Discovery Channel, Criterion Collection, and Tamron USA.

KEN HUBBARD is the Field Services Manager for Tamron. He is responsible for the company’s events, including Tamron’s popular consumer workshop series. Ken has had nationwide gallery showings of his portrait and landscape photography and teaches enthusiasts how to take better photos at numerous events. Ken’s extensive background in the field of photography is unique and diverse. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and the result is a consistent output of breathtaking photographs that continually challenge the boundaries of the genre.
