It’s ‘Deep in the Heart of Texas’ for jill-e designs, Tamron Giveaways
Lens Manufacturer, Bag Designer Team Up at Texas School, GASC Scrapbooking Event |

VICTOR and COMMACK, New York, April 26, 2010 – Two popular companies serving photography lovers of all stripes are riding into Texas this spring, co-sponsoring product giveaways at two major gatherings of photographers and scrapbookers.
jill-e designs, maker of fashionable, functional camera and carry-all bags for today’s technology-rich, on-the-go lifestyle, and Tamron, manufacturer of precision lenses for high-quality photography, are joining forces at the Texas School photo workshop, May 2-7 in Dallas, and the Great American Scrapbook Convention, June 3-5 in Arlington, to present lucky attendees of both events with bags and lenses that help them get the most out of their photography experience.
These giveaways, conducted in conjunction with the sponsors of both events, are indicative of the support and involvement of jill-e designs and Tamron in the broadest range of photography communities – from professionals to enthusiasts, for traditional photography fields as well as newer creative fields such as scrapbooking, the companies said.

The Texas School of Professional Photography is celebrating its 35th year in 2010. Attendance at this year’s weeklong gathering of photography enthusiasts and some of the country’s finest instructors is expected to exceed 1,000 enrollees. Its growing popularity has prompted organizers to move the event to the Intercontinental Hotel & Convention Center in Dallas.
The Great American Scrapbook Convention, which takes place June 3-5 at the Arlington Convention Center, is designed for both experienced scrappers and people who simply want to learn more about preserving family stories. GASC events inspire attendees and help them document memories for future generations to enjoy.
jill-e designs and Tamron will be collaborating on other giveaways during the year, including at GASC Chantilly, Va., on June 25-26. Other collaborations are planned for July and August.
