Our Vision

Tamron’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy focuses on contributing to the economy, society and environment to create “New Eyes for Industry”.

We feel that it’s our corporate social responsibility to continue to offer people from all walks of life products that contribute to their happiness. We’ve developed our Designs for the Environment (DfE) process from an environmental perspective to offer the world products that are both easy to use, and easy on the environment. Our products contain no harmful chemicals, and we make them using less energy and resources, enabling us to move toward a smaller and lighter finished product with no plastic waste from the molding process. This “harmony with the environment” from which our products are conceived are the new “eyes” used by many people in a variety of situations around the world. Our goal at Tamron is to make a product that provides sharp, natural images that inspire and awaken dreams in our customers.
