Ruben Dario Cruz
I’ve worked in photography for 17 years in various facets of the industry.
I spent five years as a photographer's assistant for Jovon Studios in East Norwich, New York. I was second photographer at Avidon studios in Port Washington, New York. During this time, I also worked as a printer at Berkey Professional, where I printed wedding albums and portraits for many studios on Long Island and in the Tri-State area.

As an adjunct instructor from 1993 through 1998 at New York Institute of Technology, I taught basic and intermediate photography, screen-printing, art orientation, two-dimensional design (color), and three-dimensional design. I acted as gallery director for three semesters in the fine arts department where I conducted  student portfolio reviews.

I have a BFA in Fine Arts and an MA in Communications from New York Institute of Technology.
